Welcome to My Own Super Fund
My Own Super Fund holds an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL No. 280072) from the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) that allows us to deal in superannuation and basic deposit products. We are not licensed to provide general or personal financial advice, however, we are able to provide factual information. My Own Super Fund operates entirely within Australia, and does not administer SMSFs offshore.
Mark Phillips and Dale Rowley are the directors and co-founders of My Own Super Fund, and have in excess of fifty years’ combined experience in the Australian superannuation and financial services industry.
We differ from other SMSF providers in the following ways:
- Cost effective, full service SMSF administration – we provide a full range of SMSF services at a competitive cost that is lower than what many of our competitors charge for a limited service;
- Regular processing – we ensure that your fund’s records and investments are always up to date by processing transactions throughout the year, not just at the end of the financial year;
- SMSF specialists – we are an independently owned business focused solely on providing services to SMSFs. We do not have any conflicts of interest and do not have any interest or incentive in providing you with additional products;
- Onshore administration – unlike some competitors, we undertake all administration activities at our offices in Australia. We believe this provides greater client protection by ensuring all client data is managed securely in accordance with Australian protocols. It also means we are readily accessible, with our clients able to call us at any time if they need to discuss any aspect of their fund. Alternatively clients that live locally are able visit our offices in person to discuss any issue.
There are many benefits to running your own superannuation fund, however, there are also many associated responsibilities. Our objective is to help you meet all your legislative and compliance obligations and provide you with greater peace of mind.
